What a week costs you
Written down, a week looks small. An initial post of a few hundred words, two replies, a quiz and some reading. Is this priced per course or per week?

It can start mid-term and it can stop mid-term. There is no package and no minimum number of weeks you have to commit to.
What counts as a substantive reply?
Most rubrics mean the same thing: engage with the specific claim your classmate made, add something they did not say, support it with a source or with reasoning, and give them something to answer. Agreement with a compliment attached earns nothing. Replies here are written to that standard, which is also why they go up early enough to get answered.
Will my instructor notice a change in my writing?
