The fine print

Privacy.

The short version.

We keep what you type into our forms, we use it to answer you and run the work you asked for, and we never sell it or mention you to your university. That is the whole arrangement. The rest of this page is the same promise in detail.

What we collect.

Quote requests: your first name, email, program and school, the service you picked, and whatever you tell us about your situation. Newsletter signups: an email address. Affiliate applications: your name, email, where your audience is, and the program you finished with us.

The site sets no tracking cookies of its own, runs no advertising pixels and keeps no accounts. Ordinary server logs exist as they do for any website and rotate out on the host's normal schedule.

What we use it for.

To send the quote you asked for, deliver the newsletter you subscribed to, or process an affiliate application. Specialists see the details of your engagement on a need-to-know basis, and every specialist works under a standing confidentiality agreement.

We never contact your university, your employer or anyone else about you. Billing descriptors are discreet. Where a referral is involved, the person referred is never told who referred them, and the referrer sees nothing beyond an anonymous credit.

What we will not do.

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not name clients in reviews or marketing: stories carry initials and a field, nothing more. Addresses given for a quote receive no marketing mail; the newsletter goes only to people who asked for it.

Keeping it and removing it.

Records live while an engagement is active and afterwards for our accounts. Email hello@inkhours.com from the address on file and we will delete your contact record and unsubscribe you from anything you are on. Every newsletter carries an unsubscribe link that works on the first click.
